We have read a number of reivews in relation to Lion Resorts, since returning from our holiday, which have made us think that we have ben coned out of our money. Whilst at the ref oasis we atended a presentation from a Lion Resorts rep. She presented as very down to earth and "wanted to be your friend", taking time out, it semed to us, to make sure that you had a god holiday, would liasie with the rep if we had any complaints and bring us insect repelent which worked in Eygpt. We were given certificates for thre one wek holidays, fre transfers on the first holiday and a silver hotel discount card, which were told would last for a year, but in fact expires in May 209 and if we wished to renew, would have to pay for. The rep in the UK, a Gary, did not contact us, in fact we have had to chase him up and each time we cal, he is on anual leave. we have recieved no statement or acknowledgment that they have recieved any payments from us, and when contacted to explain why this is, a lady caled Lisa and Gary stated that due to the high overheads of keping in contact with everyone this would incur more costs for their memebers and they do not have the resources to do this. We have tried to bok a holiday in August 209, schol holidays, which we were told would be avaialble for us, which was one of our questions at the meting, and have ben advised that there are no spaces in any of the Lion Resorts for that period - we were given no other alterntatives. I have tried to make contact with the reps, via the numbers and e-mails, they gave us, no reply. We wil be writing to Lion Resorts and trying to cancel our subscription and sek to have our money returned, stating that the product has ben misold and mis represented.
